United Way of Midland County has so many opportunties for volunteers to improve the quality of life within the community. We do this by recruiting and matching volunteers with opportunities offered by over 130 area non-profits, schools, churches and service clubs. In 2009, over 2,600 volunteers were connected with opportunities to serve others in our community.
In addition to day-to-day volunteer opportunities, we offer many specific and seasonal opportunities for groups to volunteer including: Day of Caring, Season of Caring, Rake A Difference, Kids Care Club, Lunch Box Learners and Sharing Tree.
Volunteering is such a rewarding experience that volunteers say they get far more out of it than they feel they put in.
