How do you LIVE UNITED?
Grab your camera, video camera, phone or keyboard and show us how you’re working to improve the lives of others. Your story could be
featured in United Way of Midland County’s local advertising and all
entries will appear on our website and YouTube channel. Winners will be chosen from each of the three categories: video, photo or written story.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS JUNE 20, 2010 AT 5:00 P.M.
How to Enter:
Answer the question: “How do I Live United”
Get a friend involved or invite a whole group to help
Decide to use photography, video or writing to share your story—Get Creative!
Make sure all release forms are signed and dated for every person shown
Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian signature
Submit finished pieces to United Way of Midland County by June 20, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.

FIRST PRIZE: Live United Exclusive Logo Wear & Gift Pack with Website and YouTube presence SECOND PRIZE: Free Great Lakes Loons Tickets for individual/group members THIRD PRIZE: Free passes to Midland Community Center for individual/group members
Things to remember:
Anyone who lives, works, or volunteers in Midland County is eligible to enter.
You may enter as many times as you would like.
You must read and agree to all of the Rules and Regulations of the Live United Story Search.
Video submissions can be provided in the following formats: wmv, mp4, mov, mpeg
Video submissions must be 3 minutes or less.
Photos can be color or black & white and can be provided in the following format: jpg, eps, tif, or gif. We suggest you use the highest resolution setting on your camera.
Submissions will not be judged on quality of taping or resolution, but the creative way that the story is told and the impact they are having on our community.
First, second and third place winners will be chosen for each category.
Your story could be used as part of the United Way “Live United” advertising for 2010-11.
