Mark for your calendars the third annual Spirit of the Community Awards celebration to be held on April 17th at The Great Hall. This exciting event honors the many ways that individuals and organizations are lending their time, talents, voices and hearts to create a better and stronger community. Invitations will be in the mail at the end of March.

We live in a community full of heroes.On April 17th, we will be honoring both individuals and organizations who are Living United by giving, advocating and volunteering to make Midland County stronger.

Please take a few moments to recognize a local hero by nominating them for one of the awards below. Winners will be announced at the Spirit of the Community Celebration on April 17th.

The deadline for nominations is March 21, 2012.

Companies That Care and Caring Company of the Year

Recognizes organizations who demonstrate their commitment to strengthening our community by their support of United Way. Caring Company of the Year honors a stand-out organization from the pool of Companies That Care.
