Welcome to United Way of Midland County. When you support United Way, you help the people who need it most. United Way agencies continually monitor the needs of the community and address them with specialized programs. And you can count on your money being spent wisely; over 125 local volunteers serve on our allocation panels to determine the distribution of funds to our 25 partner agencies. Plus, your gift stays right here in Midland County; strengthening families, nurturing children and youth, promoting health and increasing self-sufficiency. That builds a stronger community for all of us.

Because of our community's generous support, we exceeded our 2007 goal, raising well over $4.7 million. Your generosity will enable us to change lives by continuing to invest in programs that provide services to those in need.

In observance of the holiday season, the United Way of Midland offices will be closed on December 24th and 25, as well as December 31 and January 1st. While the office will be closed to walk-in visitors on these days, the First Call for Help will be continue to be available by phone 24-hours a day by calling 835-2211. Happy Holidays!
