Day and Season of Caring
Volunteer Center - Ask the Lawyer - Day and Season of Caring
Rake a Difference - Sharing Tree - Heart of the Community Award

The next Fall Day of Caring is September 13, 2008.

Day of Caring was first held in 1992 and involved one project and a handful of volunteers.  The following year, Day of Caring took off with about 50 projects and more than 400 volunteers.  This neighbor helping neighbor program benefits low-income seniors and those in our community who cannot do the work themselves because of health issues or disabilities.

Typical work includes painting, cleaning, yard work or light building projects.  Your team can choose how they would like to show they care.  Recruit a group from your workplace, neighborhood, family or friends and register early for your first choice of projects!
